June 16-18, 2002 - Our first 'overnighter' in seven years together.
This is the first time Kerry and I have been away, overnight together in seven years. It was well worth it even though it was raining constantly. We will be adding pictures and links to it as time goes on.
We stayed waaaaaay up north in a 27,000 acre campground/reserve. They do logging up there (owned by a paper mill), but manage the forest quite well. They have yurts for rent (no running water, no electric) and a lodge (with a generator and well). Plenty of water - streams, ponds, etc. Lotsa woods and wildlife. We saw more than we captured on film.
The journals in the yurts speak of the 'hooved man', 'three fingered willy' and a resident ghost (who is buried on the property 1/4 north of the River Bend Yurt). We only had the 'crying ghost' in our yurt - and pictures of that!!
We didn't do much editing on the pictures - so it takes a while to load. This is a work in progress - so please be patient!!
