June 16-18, 2002 - East Bend Yurt

This is the first yurt we stayed in last fall for the Leonid Meteor Showers. We went back to take pictures of it (only have video and haven't converted to MPG yet) - click on any picture to open a larger image in a new window.

There is a moose trail behind this yurt down the side of the mountain to a stream with some pretty deep pocket. Our oldest dogs had a hard time coming back up so this year we stayed at the River Bend Yurt as it was an easier walk to the water - but the water was very very HIGH and FAST due to the 'monsoon' season we were experiencing.
